Setting: A time share in Mexico

Chris and Kelly- romantic trip

Carmen and Dave- high school friends

The story will be told in the prospective of Kelly and she thinks its going to be a romantic get away

They just came back from the vacation from HELL. Chris and Kelly are on the worst vacation ever began as romantic getaway in Mexico with my boyfriend of six months. This was our first big trip together and I hoped this would be when he professed his love for me. The first four days were bliss and I couldn’t have been happier with my new beau. Still no ‘I love you’ but we had 5 days left. The morning of day five, as we’re snuggling in bed, he leans over to me and says IT and I reciprocate. Within 5 minutes of our official ‘in love’ status I roll out of bed and start vomitting and every other unpleasant and unmentionable action that you don’t want to imagine. My boyfriend had to take care of me and see things no one should ever have to see, even after 50 years of marriage. Turns out I had Ecoli…which was diagnosed by, what I swear was an 18 year old playing doctor and I was down for the count in every way. I wasn’t even supposed to travel, but my best friend was getting married and we had to get back to SF for our flight out on Tuesday

Dave and Carmen are high school friends joining Chris and Kelly but they  should have known this was coming when my luggage got “rerouted” to Mexico City. They are pretty laid back  so I shrugged it off. We get to our vacation home and guess how I knew the previous week’s tenant left the water running? We open the door to a flooded timeshare. On a normal vacation, the timeshare people would put us up somewhere while they fix the house. Well, in vacation HELL, they had no places available to put us. Once the luggage got to us and the water was back up and running, things were fine 3 DAYS INTO OUR TRIP! It left a bad taste in my mouth about our timeshare. I can’t even sell it to someone else in good conscience the way they handled us.
